Presenting:
VOICE ACTING – Add Depth and Color to Your Voice Overs
In modern voice over performances, clients are seeking two over-arching attributes: variety and sincerity. Variety is an announcing skill—when your voice goes up or down, pauses or hits certain words. If voice over was a movie, variety would be the height and width of a black and white film. Sincerity is created with voice acting—it is you connecting emotionally to the words you are speaking. If voice over was a movie, sincerity would be a 3-D, Technicolor film with 7.1 surround sound. And to paraphrase George Burns: “You know you’ve made it in this business when you can really fake sincerity.” This presentation shows you the two types of voice acting required in reading copy, and exactly how to achieve them.
