Presenting:
VOICE ACTING – Uncovering Clues in the Copy
In real life, when words just flow because they are propelled by a thought or a need, our emotional tone changes all the time—naturally. But when we read, we may choose an overall tone—and then just rely on the words to do the work.
Nope! Our job as voice talents is to make ideas come alive and seem fresh with each changing beat, always staying true to the client’s vision. Sure, the client may give us some clues in direction, but they also expect that we have the skills to uncover many of the clues ourselves. It’s part of what they pay us for! I teach you 10 secrets to look for in the script, so that your delivery will be true to the intent of the client, and also unique to you.
