Presenting:
VOICE ACTING – Good Acting vs. Bad Acting – A Demonstration
My short presentation is a “palate cleanser”—a short, funny video lesson on acting. It’s the most meaningful lesson on acting for voice over I have to offer—created to amuse and illuminate.
Career training level: all
About Pat Fraley:
One of the top 10 performers of all time to be cast in TV animation roles, Pat Fraley has been teaching acting, voice and performing for 40 years. He is also a renowned voice over trainer and author, conducting workshops and speaking at conferences across the U.S. and near his Hollywood home base of Los Angeles.
Classically trained (he earned an MFA degree in Acting from Cornell), Pat began his career in Australia working with director Peter Weir and doing Shakespeare at the Theatre of South Australia. When he discovered that traditional performance methods do not serve the voice over actor effectively—and take too much time—he created a unique acting method to address the rapid-fire needs of the voice over world.
Pat is the recipient of a gaggle of awards, including Emmy, Audie, Annie and Voicey for Lifetime Achievement in 2008.
