Presenting:
VOICE ACTING – Career: From Radio to Voice Overs

Join me as I take you through the prep steps needed to personalize and naturalize your delivery. You’ll be right beside me from live on-air in Boston through three very different voice over sessions. You’ll hear how I record and self-direct, the analysis of why self-awareness and script preparation works, and the end results for each session.

If you’re in radio and want to get into voice over, if you want to combine a radio and voice over career, or if you simply want to listen in and learn from behind-the-scenes time-tested skills, please stop by! I also share a very cool psychological perspective that will boost your performance confidence on and off the mic!

About Moneen Daley Harte:
“Vibe” may be described as something that produces an emotional response. MoVibe.com specializes in recording and producing audio that is emotionally compelling. Moneen Daley Harte is the Mo of MoVibe and has spent 27 years at major market microphones in radio and voice over work. Her approach at the mic and in life is simply to “Give Mo”!

Moneen has enjoyed nurturing and challenging dozens of new and seasoned voice talents, such as Gretchen Gale Merriweather (The Crystals), James Hammel (Billboard Hot 100 Singer/Songwriter), Gina Cervetti (Wall Street Journal Radio), and Jim Hickey (ABC News), to name a few. She uses psychological insight, perspectives, and self-direction techniques to create compelling and customized coaching.

Radio highlights of her career include cohosting a morning show with the Emmy Award-winning Tom Bergeron (host of Dancing with the Stars), bantering live with celebrities like Rosie O’Donnell and Joy Behar, and introducing smokin’ acts like Toby Keith. Voice over highlights include work with clients such as Bayer, Nestlé, National Geographic, Harvard Business School of Publishing and Lockheed Martin.
Moneen estimates she has spent close to 33,000 hours in performance mode, making her an expert voice over talent (and that’s only the paid performances—there have been many unpaid performances too!).
