These days, the majority of VO jobs are found in narration. And a whole lot of that narration work is eLearning! If this category isn’t on your radar, you could be missing out on a huge amount of work. Many people forget about eLearning because it isn’t “exciting” or “glamorous,” like animation and commercials. This class shows you how to look at eLearning a bit differently, and discover ways to bring different styles of scripts to life. The class is for everyone, whether you’re a beginner who is still putting together your individual VO technique or a seasoned pro who wants to expand into a new area of the industry.

About Kristin Price:
Kristin Price is an accomplished voice actor, marketing expert and coach with Edge Studio.
Kristin hit the stage running in her first dance recital at the age of 4, then spotted the audience and ran the other way. Much to everyone’s surprise, she jumped back on stage a few years later—and hasn’t left since. As a voice coach, she loves figuring out how to make her students shine. She strives to tap into individual learning styles to make that happen.
Her philosophy of working with kids is the same. During her five years of teaching youth acting, dance and musical theater classes for The Willows Theater and the Marin Theater Company in the San Francisco Bay Area, Kristin discovered the importance of finding each child’s natural strengths and building from there in a positive and encouraging environment.
As a voice actor, Kristin keeps busy recording commercial and narration voice overs at her home studio and at production facilities around New York City (including Edge Studio). An occasional on-camera commercial sneaks into her schedule as well.
Kristin’s recent VO work includes narrations for Disney, Crisco, Nikon, GE, Doubletree, Swarovski Crystals, H&R Block, Office Depot, Crest Spinbrush, the U.S. Army, Yale University, and many corporate training and eLearning programs; the videogames Silent Hill: Downpour, Puzzle Chronicles and Enigmatis; and commercials for Vitamin Shoppe, Ortega Tacos, Vertex, Alfred Angelo wedding gowns, Hannaford grocery stores, Paradise Bakery, Kaboom! and Peter Piper Pizza.
Most of all, Kristin is proud to have recorded a series of children’s audiobooks for MitSo Media, and for which she received the best reward possible: a room full of preschoolers who sat absolutely still and listened to every word.
