About David Zema:
David Zema is a veteran voice talent—heard on national TV and radio spots—as well as a coach and demo producer with more than 20 years of experience; he’s based in New York City.
David’s background includes producing, directing, training and performing, and since 1989 he has been training novices, actors, broadcasters, and voice artists to learn new techniques and break through old habits with his Voice of Success programs.
More than 20 years ago, David began writing, producing, directing, and narrating what would now be known as Power Point presentations. Working as a multimedia, audio-video producer for educational and training programs used by CUNY and New York City Human Resources, he produced hundreds of audio programs, slide shows, and videos. He also worked as an associate producer and announcer for two interview series television programs broadcast on WNYE-TV 25 and WNYC-TV 31.
In the late 1970s and continuing today, David added telephone programs to his production credits. Doing fun recordings like Chicago’s Dial-A-Joke, in addition to those dreaded menus and hold messages, his phone voice has been heard thousands of times.
David began radio and television commercial voice over production in the late 1980s, and this is now his main endeavor. Some recent clients who have benefited from David’s creative suite of skills are: 1010 WINS, Salon Pas Patch, Clive Emson, Continental Capital, MCU, BET, M-S-C Italian Signature Cruise, Dish Network, US Marine Corp, Fordham University, Scores, Sip ’n Rinse, and 1-800 We Answer.
