VOICE ACTING – But Wait, There’s More! How To Voice Infomercials
You’ve seen them on TV. You’ve heard the pitches. You may have even called the number on the screen. They’re infomercials: those extended commercials with lots of information about a new product that you need to buy, such as anti-aging moisturizers, body-building equipment, handy household gadgets, and get-rich-quick real estate programs. “It’s amazing!”, “Don’t miss this opportunity”, “Operators are standing by”, “Hurry, this offer won’t last long!”, “Not sold in stores”, “Call now!”, “But wait—there’s more!” And the primary component to motivating the viewer/listener to call or click is the voice over delivery.
I’ve voiced tons of these long-form ads, and in my VOV presentation I give you some helpful tips and techniques to help you bump up your delivery for this specialized form of advertising. It’s like voicing a commercial, but it takes more!
